We are a fun, mother-daughter team with a heap of experience and a bunch of creativity.

You: 1st grade to adult (G.E.D., homeschool, public school, skill enrichment)

What: language arts tutoring (creative writing, poetry, grammar, penmanship, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, idioms, etc.)

What else: G.E.D., basic math, public speaking, arts & crafts

Why: We help people explore all the great things they can learn. Why? We’re just built that way! We love to learn, and we love to help other people learn.

How: 1-on-1 & small group

You won’t find any computers here. You will find markers, pencils, games, fidgets and two people who are enthusiastic about your success. We aren’t ‘homework aides’ so you can turn in that ditto. We focus on improving the skills you need. Maybe you never learned them. Perhaps the concepts just weren’t said in a way that made sense to you, but, once you get it, that skill will be your tool to keep.

Struggling with math? Well, the math problem usually is not the problem. You need a different way to approach that cantankerous math. Together, we can figure it out.

Here, we talk. We create stories. We play with language (and bean bags :). We tease your brain with games to wake it up and get it sparking along.

When: by appointment, Noon – 7pm

Cost: $25 / session per person (Yes, we are an EFA vendor.)
